Progression and concretisation in Silverstone

19 September 2025 – Press Release Arthur Rogeon

Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3, round 6, Silverstone, 12-13 September 2025

Arthur Rogeon and his team achieved their best result of the season in the LMP3 category of the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Silverstone. Starting 10th,the #30 Duqueine saw the finish safely in 6th place representing significant progression in the championship classification for one of the youngest crews on the grid.

Optimism was high at CD Sport as they arrived at the British Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit making its return to the ACO series calendar this year. Private testing in August provided valuable data as the first runs began. Arthur confirmed that the speed was there in Thursday’s collective practice. He remained part of the top 5 (4th in LMP3) in free practice, but the team subsequently took a technical gamble in qualifying that didn’t pay off. Arthur finished 10th on the grid, which left him wanting more: “I did the same time in qualifying configuration as I did in free practice with a full tank, which suggests we were a bit slower and that the others had improved. We had 110 minutes of racing left to catch up.”

On Saturday afternoon, Arthur’s teammate, Thomas Imbourg, got off to a good start and moved up to 9th place on the first lap. He continued pushing and handed over to Arthur in seventh spot. “I went pedal to the metal on the opening laps of my stint,” said the driver from Laval, France, “the car felt good on the new tyres and I gained a place. But after the neutralisation on lap 27the pace dropped off. I no longer had traction coming out of corners, especially in the slow sections. We had to work hard to defend our 6th position during the last 20 minutes. We can say that we had a good race; we fought well and avoided penalties; we just lacked a little bit of pace to aim higher. It remains our best result of the season, provisionally, I hope because we will do everything to finish on the podium in Portimao!”

The final round of the 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup season will take place in Portugal on Saturday, October 18, but Arthur will have two further opportunities to shine this time in the European Endurance Prototype Cup at Magny-Cours on October 11 and then at the Paul Ricard circuit on November 8.
