Use the experience of 2025 to build 2026

27 October 2025 – Press release Arthur Rogeon

Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3, round 7, Portimao, 18 October 2025

The Michelin Le Mans Cup was Arthur Rogeon’s main programme this year. Marked by the transition from the world of single-seaters to that of endurance racing and sports prototypes, the 2025 season was rich in discovery and learning opportunities for a promising youngster who quickly adapted to his new environment. The Laval driver arrived in Portimao with the desire to finish the season on a high note… on the notes of the Marseillaise, for example! But incidents beyond his control decided otherwise.

Due to a cooling issue, Arthur and his teammate Thomas Imbourg were unable to take advantage of Wednesday’s three-hour test. The fine-tuning work on their Duqueine D09-Toyota was postponed until the next day. On Friday, Thomas went off the track at the start of the qualifying session resulting in a red flag and automatic relegation to the back of the LMP3 grid.

Unfortunately, the crew of the #30 CD Sport team would suffer a similar fate in the race. On the 20th of the 58 laps, Thomas hit a Ferrari that had spun in front of him. He was able to return to the pits to fit a new front bonnet, but lost two laps in the process. Arthur rejoined and gave it his all to leave a mark, despite a bent front end due to the crash. He made numerous overtakes, but he was only able to marginally improve the final result.

“The team changed all the radiators and the intercooling system to resolve the problem that immobilised us during the collective tests. I needed to drive because I was discovering the track. Fortunately, Thursday went off normally and we were able to optimise the car’s settings. Analysing the lap and a half that Thomas covered in qualifying before his crash, it’s clear that we could have aimed for the Top 5. Thus, we had a frustrating weekend and our sixth place at Silverstone remains our best result. But I am generally satisfied with my first season in endurance racing which allowed me to learn a lot in many areas and to be noticed by international teams. Contacts have already been made and I’m hopeful of putting together a great programme for 2026.”

To say goodbye to 2025, Arthur will be at the start of the European Endurance Prototype Cup on November 8 and 9 on the Paul Ricard Circuit.
