22 May 2026 – Press realease Arthur Rogeon
Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3, the season so far.
An analysis of the first two rounds of the Michelin Le Mans Cup leaves no room for doubt: Arthur Rogeon is one of the very finest drivers in the LMP3 category. The hard-charger from Laval, France has strung together marvellous performances in qualifying and shown searing pace under race conditions. He has led the field, hasn’t made any mistakes and has excelled in adversity. All that´s missing are the results for reasons for which he cannot be held responsible. Endurance victories are won by teams – above all in the Sarthe. In mid-June, Arthur Rogeon, his team-mate August Raber and the Brutal Fish Campos Racing squad will tackle Road to Le Mans with the aim of achieving a result in keeping with their potential and ambitions.
Round 1 took place in Barcelona where Arthur set a promising fourth-fastest time in qualifying despite a bit of understeer. At the start of the two-hour event, Arthur´s team-mate tried to snatch third place, but the Swede tagged the other Brutal Fish Campos Racing´s Ligier and spun in front of 39 cars!
Luckily, everybody managed to avoid him and he was able to rejoin in 41st place, fight his way back up the order as well as serving a drive-through penalty, a slow crawl down the pit lane, for his initial infringement. Arthur took over, but an electrical problem affected the gear selection and the Spanish Ligier JS P325 – Toyota was obliged to retire with two-thirds of the race run.
The (mis) adventure at Paul Ricard was even more of a headline grabber! This time Arthur qualified on the front row and was entrusted with doing the first stint. He emerged from the Esses de la Verrerie in the lead and after a few more corners he´d already opened up a sizeable gap. In vain as the race was neutralised. When the green flag was waved, he started to pull away again. And then these words appeared on the live streaming band: “car no:12 – drive through penalty – starting grid infringement”.
Explanation: on the starting grid the external battery was still connected to the car when the 5-mn board was shown, something forbidden by the rules. This kind of thing never happens, but it did on the very day when Arthur was dominating the race! He had to drive slowly down the pit lane and dropped back to 18th place!
But he remained focused, took the fight to his rivals and handed over the car to his team-mate in second place! The English commentator qualified Rogeon´s pace as spellbinding! At that moment a brilliant result looked on the cards, but with two-thirds of the race covered a contact damaged the power steering and the Franco-Swedish crew racked up another DNF (Did Not Finish).
Confident ahead of Road to Le Mans
For 2026, Arthur has joined Campos Racing, a team with almost 30 years’ experience under its belt mainly in single-seaters, before launching the sports-prototype programme this season in association with the Brutal Fish Racing Team. The team founded by F1 driver Adrian Campos is today managed by his son. It recently won titles in F3 and F4 and clinched the runner-up spot in FIA Formula 2.
“I feel good in the team” Arthur was quoted as saying. “There´s a great atmosphere and they´re well structured. They´ve got all the technology necessary for top-level competition, and a partnership with a university means they can attract talented engineers and technicians. I think we share the same objective – to climb up the endurance ladder. The car’s competitive and my codriver is quick and consistent even if he’s had a few setbacks in the races. I think we have every reason to be confident before Road to Le Mans, the blue riband race on the calendar. The format will be different compared to my first participation. The single three-hour race will be Friday´s big event the day before the start of the 24 Hours.” Rendez-vous Wednesday 10th June for the first practice sessions!
